Ohhhh I missed that so much!

Every time I promise that I will keep writing every day and than one month passes because I can’t find the time.. Alright, this time I promise not to promise anymore, but here are my 2 cents 4 2day.

Do you know what is self-awareness? People are using this term all the time though it seems that its full meaning is unclear. For example, you woke up in the morning, standing infront of the mirror and saying to yourself – ‘Oh my god, my nose is so long / my forehead is so big / I’m ugly 2day’, does it mean that you are self aware to your look? No. That means that you are looking at the world through your fears. Being self aware means looking at those fears instead of through them. So a self aware way of looking at the mirror that morning will be more like – ‘I feel bad because I hold a belief that I’m ugly’.

It is the act of looking at your feelings in real time instead of being them.

Brain chartHere is another example (With a chart!!) – 20 minutes late, You are driving your car to work, when suddenly some guy violently cuts you off. Shocked, you stop your car at once and start mumbling something like ‘Oh this f**** stupid d***a** f***, who gave you a license?!’. You are about to keep on driving again when suddenly the car behind start honking so hard, and the driver screams from the window: ‘Start moving asshole!!! I have to attend McDonalds to eat a super mega tripel double mcRoyal with some deep oiled chips in the size of a building and 2 liters of Coca-Cola! Burp’. Now you get really mad. You keep on driving incautiously to work, your face is red and your whole day looks like shit.
That was the not self-aware you, the one who was driven by his fears and feelings.
The self aware you, would immediately stop and say to himself – ‘I feel very angry right now’, thus looking at your emotions and not act through them.

But what’s the difference? Well the scientific difference is that as long as you are not self aware, meaning get angrier and angrier and not stopping to look at that, this anger shows up in the back of your brain – the unconscious one (which is about 95% of your brain size). Once you notice how angry you are, this anger moves from the unconscious part of your brain to the conscious one. Once it is there, your brain and body starts to destroy it, thus get you calm much faster. Truth is, that up until any kind of feeling gets to the conscious part of your brain – it can never leave.

You know what’s really cool about it? There is no sign of this awareness anywhere in the brain. When looking at peoples brains there is no sign of this awareness. There is a very clear seeing as the anger (or any other feeling) awakens in the unconscious part, and than at some point it moves to the conscious part, but no one have yet seen this thing which is looking at the brain from the outside and recognize the anger. Where is this awareness? Is it not included in the physical? Probably. It is higher than the brain, sees everything from the brid’s eye view. It is free of any judgement, it just looks objectively at a given situation and sees it for what it is. It is gentle omnipresent.

How to overcome barriers?

I think that this is an issue that we are all familiar with – you have to do something for work, have to pay a fine, have to email someone. You have to create, have to make some food, have to clean the house. But you just can’t find the strengths. Instead, you sit infront of the television or the computer screen, doing nothing undercover and feeling very bad about it.
Now there are a few factors that can cause this, but what is really important to understand here is that we are not talking about a local treatment that will help you get over yourself this time. Instead I would like to talk about a permanent cure.

OK Cool. So what can you do about it? Well here are some helpful tips to get over this issue: (A clue, as always, it does involve self investigation. Otherwise – no real cure is achieved, but just a local treatment)
(1) Here is your basic assumption for this process – No matter what needs 2b done, it can wait for 2 more hrs. If it can’t, than there is no barrier, you have no choice of doing that. If you think that it can’t wait, and you still find yourself starring at the screen for 80% of your so called ‘working time’, than it can wait.
(2) Now, after you’ve made some time in your schedule, you can begin. The first step is the self investigation. Write these questions on a paper or the computer screen, and try to answer them honestly:
* Is this a task that I have to do? WHY??
* What is it that I’m afraid of about this task?
* How does this barrier makes me feel? What do I feel like right now?
* Besides this task, a small other thing that I need to do today is.. (Do it now)
* One thing I would like to change in my life is: …..
* Recently, I find myself bothered because…

Good. The main idea behind this step is that usually the reason for the barriers is our mind, that keeps being so disturbed with other things that we have to do, other things that bother us in our life, tomorrow yesterday and so on.. All these questions are aimed at turning the lantern from the outside in, in order to shed a light about those things. Those thoughts and worries takes away our vitality and therefor create the barriers. This self investigation part is the one we use in order to find a permanent cure.

To make it easier, I’ve just developed a free online tool for that, which can help you create a daily self reflection routine for yourself, no matter where you are (Even at work). couch_potato(3) After answering those questions, the next step is to go and do something you like for at least one hour. Please notice that you don’t like starring at a screen of any kind. Seriously. This is usually either an addiction or a runaway from yourself. Get energized – go for a walk in the beach / park / city market, play a musical instrument / write / paint / dance, practice a sport of some kind. Meet a love one with the intention to laugh and have fun. Play with a little child (The best cure for everything). Read a book, Cook. Breathe some clean air. Meditate.

(4) If you are having too much fun, don’t stop yourself in the middle… Your task can usually wait till 2morrow as well, as long as you are getting closer to yourself full-hearted.

Intuitive writing – My favourite tool for self development

I’ve just published my last post about 15 hrs ago, which is kinda interesting as I never post more than once every week or two. But, as I previously said, I have too much to say these days, and becuae I know that you are all hiding inside my computer screen and I am sitting just infront of it, I guess you are the ones who should bear my chit chat.

Alright no surprises this time – you all already know what I’m going to write about. Have you ever tried writing intuitively for a while? I mean, for a few weeks or months, every morning when you wake up, write 3 A4 papers. If you did you might want to go and read some other post. But if you didn’t (Or tried and didn’t succeed), here’s what will happen once you will:
* Your intuition is going to reach new peaks,
* You will be blown away by your flowing-out-of-no-where creativity,
* Your dreams will become crazzzyyy,
* Your self awareness will rise as you will start observing your thoughts as they are written infront of you,
* You will start overcoming fears as you recognize their repeating and programmed structure.

9.thoughtsThis is how it goes:
(1) Take a pen and put it on a paper,
(2) Start writing EVERY thought that comes up your mind,
(3) Don’t stop until you reach 3 full A4 papers,
(4) Do it every morning.

OK that sounds simple isn’t it? Well it is, but if you’ve never really tried you will probably run into these barriers at first (I’m also talking about those who tried for just a short while and it didn’t flow):
(1) At first times, you might find that you don’t have anything to write, because no thoughts are coming up your mind. That’s wrong ofcourse, as our mind produces 70,000 new thoughts a day, which is about 1 thought per second. It occurs because the ability to listen to your thoughts should first develop. That’s great! That means that you are about to unlock a new wonderful ability. In the meanwhile, just keep on writing – “I don’t have anything to write, I don’t have anything to write….” till you will have.
(2) Then, after going through this barrier, You will first meet your inner censor. This guy, is the one who stands between your heart and mind. At first, he will not let you write things that look ‘wrong’ or ‘disgusting’ to your EGO/Mind. He will not let you write stuff that you don’t want to read, hear, see or feel. That’s OK. Once you first meet him, it is just a matter of days till he is gone, and voila! You are an intuitive writer.

* HEY, do it. It might look a bit frightening, doing it every morning and write 3 full A4 papers, but it really isn’t. You might need to wake up 30 minutes ealier (It is really important to do it as the first thing you do in the morning) but once you get used to it, you will find out that it worth it sooo much.

How To Follow Your Heart?

Hi All,

Well good news… I’m back! I know I know, I said that I’m shutting down this blog because of my new portal 2BAware, but hey, I have just made a list and found more than 60 topics that I want to write about so here I am again..

Alright so let’s begin – most of you probably didn’t read my post Follow Your Heart as it is one of my earliest blog posts. Well just about a month ago a good friend of mine who is also a great writer, Jaden Larker, asked me after reading this post “How? How can I differ between the mind’s and the heart’s will?”
That’s a great question – as most of the time, if not all of it, we are a slaves to the will of our programmed mind. It seems that we have totally forgoten how to listen to our hearts, which are much smarter than our brains (Did you know that latest brain researches show that our heart sends to our brain 4 times more information than our brain sends to the rest of the body? Isn’t that crazy?).
When do we usually feel our hearts? When we are in love, when we are looking at a small child and when we are enjoying a hobby that we REALLY love, usually some kind of an artistic hobby. You see? The most important things in life are being activated by the heart.

07879870So now you have a dilemma – should I take this job or shouldn’t I? Should I break this relationship or shouldn’t I? Should I go eating McDonald’s or shouldn’t I? (That’s gross man, why do you even think about it?!)
And here’s the prescription (Not 4 McDonald’s, there is no prescription for that) -
(1) Close your eyes, take 5 deep breaths from the nose to the bottom of your stomach and out from the nose, relax.
(2) Move your attention to your heart.
(3) Say – I’m taking this job.
(4) Check how it feels – can you feel your heart getting wider? Is it starting to vibrate? Does it make you smile? Good – you should take this job.
(5) Say – I’m not taking this job.
(6) Check how it feels again – Can you feel your heart getting narrower now? are your breathes becoming shorter? Can you feel some tension in your chest, or maybe a small pain in there? Seems like you have an easy decision to make.

* Many times our heart and mind collide. Your heart says one thing, which is totally unreasonable (for the mind) and your mind says just the opposite, which is sooo reasonable. To make things a bit tougher, all the advisors around you will say exactly what your mind says. That’s because your mind is a programmed machine, and their minds are programmed just as well. So – don’t ask for any advice, and go with your heart. Always.

** It might take 2-3 times till you really get a hold of it. Don’t give up, once this ability is developed, you will always make the right decisions – even when your mind doesn’t agree with you.

How To Find The Root Of Anything That Is Bothering You? #3

Alright so this is the last of post of this series, and in this one I’m going to explain what can be done once the root of the suffering is recognized correctly. (If you still didn’t read #1 & #2 plz do so before reading this post). In the last 2 posts, we’ve learned that the root of anything that bothers us is a fear which arises inside, and although it might seem often that a problem is external to us (“I’m angry because I’ve scheduled a meeting with someone who didn’t show up” – wrong) it is actually internal (“I’m angry because I’m afraid that because he didn’t show up, my business plan won’t come up as planned -> I’ll lose money -> I won’t have anything to eat -> I will die” – right). We’ve also learned how to analyze this tree of fears, till we get to the bottom of it.
And now, the big question is – “I recognized the root fear, what can I do with it?”

OK, So in order to answer this question I would like to create a seperation between 2 types of fears – The one that stops you from taking an action (quitting your job), and the one that triggers an emotional reaction (Anger, worry, low self-esteem).

1. The fear that stops you from taking an action – This fear is the fear of quitting your job, finding a new habit because you are afraid that you are not gifted enough, cleaning your house because you “hate it”. Well than, once you already found that the fear is what stopping you from taking an action, though it might be frightening in some cases like quitting your job, you take a very deep breathe and… JUST DO IT. Seriously, once you know that the fear is holding you back, face it. You are going to die someday you know, and you better not be led to your grave by this fear :-)

2. The fear that triggers an emotional reaction (Anger, worry, low self-esteem) – This is the fear that is hiding behind all of your accusations (“I’m angry because HE/SHE lied to me”, “I hate all the politicians”…), behind your low self-esteem (“I’m ugly”, “I’m not funny/smart/good at anything”), and behind the many years of worry for all kinds of different things (Money, for example).
In this case, once you analyzed the whole tree of fears as discussed in the previous post and got to the root fear, well.. that’s all you can do basically. Thing is, that this is the only thing you need to do. Once you see the whole tree of fears that triggered your emotional reaction, a magical thing happens in your brain – It is starting to untie itself and restructures. The next time you will look in the mirror and feel bad because you think you are ugly, you will immediately know that this is just a fear and feel a little better. The next time, it will happen again, and you will feel a bit better again. After a while, this fear won’t have any hold on you anymore (And so does many other fears that are tied to it inside your brain). You will completely get over it, to the rest of your life. This is a quite a good thing, overcoming your fears, isn’t it? :-)

HOW TO FIND THE ROOT OF ANYTHING THAT’S BOTHERING YOU? #2

So in yesterday’s post we’ve discussed 2 things -
1) Everything that bothers you is born within you, as it is formed by your perception of reality and not by reality itself.
2) In order to go deeper, you have to be willing to take responsibily for it – thus accepting non conditionally that YOU are the one who has to change.

That being said, 2day I’m gonna talk about a way to analyze what’s bothering you till u get 2 the bottom of it. For that matter, let us assume that you woke up 2day, looked at the mirror and decided that you have a “bad hair day” and therefore you are ugly. Gotcha! you blame the ugliness (an external factor) for your suffering (Worrying, low self-esteem). That happens a lot lately, and you already know that you can’t blame your ugliness for the fact that you feel bad, but only your attitude towards your look. (because you’ve read HOW TO FIND THE ROOT OF ANYTHING THAT”S BOTHERING YOU? #1)

So how do you turn inwards? Well, here is the magic trick: You ask WHY. And when you ask WHY, there are 2 things you have 2 keep in mind:
*) The answer has to point at you – not at anyone, or anything else. It has to point at the place where your attitude is coming from. (fear, fear, fear)
**) The answer has to point at the NOW. It can’t point at 1 minute ago, or 1 minute after. Only NOW – because you are bothered NOW.
And once you ask WHY, here’s the dialogue that will run in your head, till you find the source of your suffering (By asking WHY again and again):

Dialogue:
Q: Why am I so bothered by the fact that I have a bad hair day?
A: Because that means I’m ugly!
Q: No, we’ve already been there. No external factor is responsible for my suffering (*). (Asking WHY again) So, WHY does the fact that I’m ugly botheres me?
A: Because everyone will laugh at me.
Q: No, ‘everyone’ is an external factor again (*). ‘will laugh’ happens in the future (**). (Asking WHY again) WHY does the thought that everyone will laugh at me bothers me now?
A: Because, I’m afraid (YES YES YES) that I won’t have any friends! (The fear is internal and it is now – this is the answer)
Q: YES! (Now let’s go deeper) – but WHY does that fear bothers me?
A: Because, I’m afraid (good) that if I won’t have any friends, I will be alone.
Q: So? WHY does being alone bothers me? (deeper)
A: Because, I’m afraid (exactly) that if I’ll be alone, I won’t be happy.
Q: So, WHY does not being happy bothering me?
A: Because, I’m afraid (applause) that if I won’t be happy, I will die.

Mission accomplished.

Everything that bothers is constructed by many different fears, that all lead up to the root – the fear of death (Which leads to the love for life).
But what do you do with that information? Well, that post is becoming way too long, so I’ll discuss it 2morrow.

How To Find The Root Of Anything That’s Bothering You? #1

This is the 1st post out of 3 that will help you gain a better understanding of the root of anything that is bothering you in your life. This thing – called fear, has many levels and it shows itself in various ways. A deep understanding of it, will help you find it behind each and every one of its masks and to overcome it.

There are 2 things that need to be understood before we can go any deeper. The 1st thing is the recognition that ANYTHING that bothers you comes from within YOU. Seriously, I mean anything. Let me explain – think of the last time that something made you feel worried. If you would place all the people in the world in the same situation, will they all be worried? Ofcourse not. Different people, with different life experiences and different thoughts, respond differently to the same situation. So did the situation create the problem, or was it the one who perceived it? Was your worry objective or subjective?

Am I saying that you are responsible for the fact that your boss just fired you from work and now you don’t have any money? No. What I’m saying is that this is not what bothers you. What bothers you is the worry that arise as a result. And this worry is just fear wearing a mask. Therefore, the fact that you just got fired can be handled without the fear (worry) that is currently involved and is what causing you suffering. As Captain Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean) said:

Now, the 2nd thing that needs to be discussed and understood, is that in order to recognize (and solve) the things that bother you, you have to make a decision to do so. A decision to start looking at yourself, all the time, and understand that nothing, nothing, is responsible for your suffering but your perception. You don’t agree with me? than you will become a slave for an endless amount of randomly changing external factors for the rest of your life. What do you choose?

All that being said, tomorrow I will explain how to analyze each and every thing that bothers you, find all the different fears that are involved (there are a few in each situation) and finally how to overcome them all.

How to change your life?

Lately, many people ask me after reading my about page or posts like Follow Your Heart – “how do you do that?”. Many people around me are very interested in how I manage to live a full and dynamic life, so here it is.

First of all, life is a game, and I believe that we should all find the ways to enjoy it as much as we can. This being said, we all have many things that need to be changed in order to enjoy this game (Changes are the flow of this game called ‘life’). These changes can be major, like ending a relationship or quitting a job (Doing major changes means that you are about to win this game), can be mediocre like finding a new creative habit (you are defintely winning this game), and can be minor – like going out and play with a friend / family member 2day (jackpot).

So, here’s how I find what I want to change, and here’s also how I do it:
(1) Find out what needs a change – This is the most important part. Take a pen and a paper and write down all the pieces of the pie you call ‘my life’. It consists of your habits (“I don’t have enough habits” is also a piece of this pie), ALL your relationships, your job, the place where you live, the things you eat and so on.. YOU HAVE TO SEE IT ALL WRITTEN INFRONT OF YOUR EYES.
(2) Examine – For each piece of this pie, HONESTLY ask yourself if it serves you or not (and why). By ‘serves’ I mean helps you to achieve ALL your dreams (My dream is to live a varied life, so this is a good reason to change things often).
(3) Find what stops you – Now, write what are the reasons that you didn’t change those things so far (“because I’m afraid that…”)
(3.5) Don’t let the fear arise – At this point the voice in your head will start screaming – “You can’t do it!! You don’t have enough money!! You won’t have any friends!! This is stupid!!!” – Give him a cookie or something.
(4) Look beyond your fears – Choose the first thing that needs a change, and change it NOW. As Nike slogan says – JUST DO IT.

* I have a friend who has a job that doesn’t serve him anymore. He doesn’t quit it because he doesn’t know what will happen after he quits. Because he is working most of the time in a job he doesn’t like, he can’t find the time nor the strengths, to fully look for a new direction in his life. Don’t fall down to that trap – the first thing is to assertively CUT all the things that shouldn’t be there. Only than you can find new things to fill up the hole.

Pulling the rope

2 people are pulling a rope from both ends, Let’s call them Eric and George. In the middle of the rope there is a tension. Totally terrified that the rope might rupture, you run to them and ask how did they find themselves in this situation.
Both of them are saying: “He is responible for the tension in the rope – if HE wouldn’t stop pulling, the rope will forever stay tensed.”
“But, you also feel the tension in your hands, that’s because you are also pulling!” you say.
“Yes,” they are both saying, “but HE is responsible, He started, HE is the problem”.

Seeing it all from above, you KNOW that it is enough that one of them will stop pulling to stop the tension. Truth is, that the first one to do it will be the one to stay on his feet, while the other will probably fall on his ass, shocked by the peaceful decision of the other side not 2b a part of this fight.

Ofcourse, I’m not talking about a specific fight or argument, but about ALL the arguments, fights, small angers and big hates that have ever took place between every 2 people since the begining of mankind. I’m talking about the 1000 different times a day your mind accuse someone or something, even for 1 milisecond, in your momentary disatisfaction of the present moment. It is ALWAYS about u and someone else, or u and something else, pulling the same rope. Both of u are so sure that “I” am right and “HE” is wrong and refuse to leave this rope already.

But what is preventing you from observing it all from above, just like you saw the fight between Eric and George from above? What is preventing you from letting go from all of these ends of ropes? Letting go from all of your angers, worries, fears and arguments with your mother and father, friends and lovers?

I’m Back!

Hello hello hello,

Alright so I know that it has been a while since I wrote or published anything, but that is just because I was so occupied with my workshop in the last week, as it was the first week since it launched.

But, here are the great news – I’m here, again! :-)

I also want to apologize to all the 200 beautiful people who waited for their comments to be approved, as I also didn’t have time to do that up until now.

So, here’s what coming next – the duck will be here for a 3rd visit (out of 4), we will also have some great music coming in the “Good vibrations music” section of this blog (The 4th post is now online b.t.w, check it out to feel the LOOOVVVEEEE coming at you :-)), and hopefully I will be able to bring you some more inspirational posts, to make you all feel happy and smiley.

The Duck#1

This is the first post out of 4 which will explain how does the human mind works (and yours included :-)).

It all began just a few days ago, as I was walking around my neighberhood, when suddenly I heard a call: “Hey you, do you know how to get to the beach?”, as I turned around, I saw this guy ——> “Sure man, Just take the left turn and you’ll hit the main road, and as you arrive there, you can basically take which direction you want”, “10x dude”. Just a few seconds later, I suddenly realized how strange  this situation was, so I turned back and ran after him.                   “Hey” I said, “I have never seen a talking duck!”                              “A TALKING DUK?!” he replied with astonishment, “Here?? where?” “You are!” I said.                                                                                                                               “Me? No I’m not!”                                                                                                                                 “No? Well you look like a duck and walk like one..”                                                                                 “And still,” He replied “I’m nothing but dots and numbers”

“Oh, mmm… right. But your dots are ordered as if you are a duck!”                                                     “No they are not. They are randomly distributed”                                                                                     “No they’re not!” I have suddenly found myself shouting, “The dots are ordered as if you are a duck, and the numbers prove that! If I will draw a line between every 2 consecutive numbers, you will become a duck!”     “But who asked you to draw a line between every 2 consecutive numbers?”, “hmm, I’m just saying that..”, “Don’t just say. No one asked you to draw that line. That line exists inside your mind, that’s it. It does not exists in reality. Your eyes doesn’t see it. There are countless ways to draw the lines, and therefore there are countless of shapes that u can draw between these dots, so why do you choose to see a duck?”, “Truth is.. I don’t know”, “Because that’s what you’ve been taught to see. You were taught that only 1 straight line goes between every 2 dots. But here is the inevidable truth: A countless number of lines passes between every 2 dots, and not a single one of these lines is straight. There are no straight lines in nature. Just put a mouse in one corner of a room and put some cheese in the opposite corner, and let it go get it. Repeat this little experiment 1000 times. The mouse will never choose the same path and will never walk in a straight line. A straight line is nothing but a belief. Look, by connecting just some of my dots a bit differently, I could easily become a chicken. Now, instead of being just dots and numbers, I become dots, numbers, the color red and some lines. Your mind automatically completes all the other lines,and colors and gives this new shape a name. It all happens inside your head, but it is not a part of reality.

“Thing is” He than continued, “That our mind is used 2c the world that way. It sees lines, and always the same ones, where there are nothing but some dots. And these lines create a limiting perception of the world.. We will discuss that next time. In the meanwhile, in order to prove my point, I’m going to challenge you with a nice little riddle. Think about it for a few minutes and leave it if you don’t succeed. The solution will be found in the next part of this post.

The Duck #2

So this time, I went to one of the bars around my neighborhood to have a beer with the Duck, and to keep listening to what he has to say. As I saw him, he immediately smiled and excitedly asked: “Well well, do you have a solution for my riddle?”
“Truth is, I don’t. I know I’m not good enough with Math so I didn’t even try”
“HA! Bartender!” He shouted “Plz bring my dear friend a shot of scotch for his fixed brain. It might loosen it up a little”
“Hey! why do you say I have a fixed brain?”
“Because I gave you a riddle (1st dot) with some numbers (2nd dot), and you immediately assumed that it has to be a Math riddle (Straight line). You just drew that fixed, straight line between those 2 dots” He said and smiled, “And than, youv’e let this line shape your world so u didn’t even try to solve the riddle, because if it is a Math problem (1st dot) and your’e not good in Math (2nd dot) than you won’t succeed anyway (Straight line).”
“Oh” I responded.
“So, here is the solution. As you can c, it really has nothing to do with Math. Actually, the younger you are the easier it will be to solve this one, as your brain not yet fixed.”

“Is that the reason you said last time that these lines shapes my reality?”
“Yes. But I didn’t say it as a metaphor. It goes into the physical. Your brain itself is made of ties (the dots) and lines that connects them in a fixed way in order to invoke a thought. Every experience you go thorugh, everything you see or hear – they all create some more lines and more ties”
“And because when I was in school I was tought to do the Math when I see numbers, this kind of line was created between those 2 ties (dots) in my brain. I get it”
“Exactly. Therefore, what is needed in order to solve this riddle, is to think outside of the box, to go against some rules of thinking, to do not accept what everybody “Knows”. This is called creativity”
“Oh. Well I’m not so creative”
“This belief is a line my friend. cut it”
“How do I cut it? It is not possible to become creative! you have it or you don’t have it. right?”
“No. Totally wrong. As I see it, there are 2 main ways to cut that line. But I’m sure that there are much more. The 1st way is becoming aware to your thoughts as thoughts only, and not reality. Once you start observing your thoughts from the outside, just watching them come and go, you become familiar with their true nature – a subjective illusion that appear and disappear just like the waves of the ocean. At that point, your brain starts to untie itself(*). The 2nd way is to seriously learn new creative things. Have you ever tried to paint? playing a musical instrument? dance? Have you ever tried some intuitive writing? All of these and many others can be a great way to become more creative.(**) They will all create new lines and new ties in your brain, as well as untie others.”

“Got it. So, what are we going to discuss the next time?”
“I believe that next time we will take it one step forward. We will see how the lines are responsible for you being sad and happy, passionate and a fearful. This is going to be the real thing. Hey, until than, let’s play a game shall we? I’m going to add a photo for you, and you will try to think what you see in it. Remember, there are endless ways to connect the dots, and none of them is straight. As for me, I think that this is a dragon. Definately a dragon. What do you think?”

Hi everyone.

So first of all I would like to say that I’m both shocked and flattered by the rising number of followers to this blog. I’m thankful to each and every one of you for your comments, likes and for keep on reading my posts again and again.

In this post, I would like to share some thoughts that have occured right after I ran into this amazing (and short) video.

So, if you’ve listened carefully to the speaker, you could hear him saying:

“Everything looks like it has been designed by an architect, a single mind. But ofcourse that isn’t true. This complex city was created by the collective will of the ant colony. A super organism.”

I think that in other words, what the speaker is trying to say (in the name of the scientists, I guess) is that there wasn’t any chief commander ant, who stood with a GPS in the middle of the colony and shouted “Left!!”, “Right!!!”, “Keep this going you lazy sons of a..!!” and so on.  It seems that all the ants (Billions of them) are a part of the same consciousness, a higher consciousness, that is not a part of the physical space. So what we are actually seeing here is ONE “creature” which only looks like many DIFFERENT ants – because our mind believes that any two physical objects are necessarily differentiated.

And the reason we can understand this fact when we are watching the ants, is that we are watching them from the outside.

NOW, what do you think that we will ALL see, once we start looking at ourselves from the outside?

Science of the stomach tension

Hey people,

I would like to raise a discussion about stomach aches or basically stomach tensions.

It’s this uncomfortable feeling that comes up our stomach when we are angry or insecure, or maybe when we know something isn’t right.

I used to have them since I was a little child, right after I had a fight with one of my friends or when my parents got mad at me. Later on, this kind of a feeling that lasted for two month was the reason I understood that I have to break up with my girlfriend, after almost 7 years together.

When I’m lucky enough to be alone for a long time, this feeling can tell me which book to choose at the bookstore or which way to choose when I’m getting to a road junction. It seems that this feeling is a kind of an inner keeper, trying to make sure that we will stay unharmed.

What are your experiences with this feeling?

I’ve always had this dream, in which I’m sitting on a beautiful beach in paradise, just living my life there, doing what I love and have to do.

And I was just holding it there, in the back of my head, letting the dream rest, totally ignoring the background voices – the thoughts that appeared, the “right” and “wrong” of my surroundings.

One day, my heart started talking. It was a different language than my mind’s language. It was not a language made of words, it was a language made of chest vibrations, sounds and feelings. It is a language made of Universe’s dance.  And no matter how big was the collision between my heart and my mind, it was so clear that one speaks truth and the other is just a great lier.

Two weeks ago I’ve opened my eyes on a white beach in Mauritius, now doing all I Love and Have to do here in the next few months.

Thank you heart, for leading me through each and every moment of my life.

Thank you great silence, for being eternily present.

Thank you, all that there is, for being.

Is there free will or no free will? Perhaps it was always the wrong question. A more fundamental question: Is there anyone here separate from life in the first place, who can ‘have’ free will or not? Perhaps even the appearance of free will and choice, or lack of them, are not personal at all. Perhaps ‘free will’ and ‘lack of free will’ are just two more concepts arising and dissolving in the non-conceptual vastness that you are….

The play

Let’s imagine that life is a play. And in that play there are 3 – the actor, the observer (crowd) and the act itself.

Out of these three, who are you?

I used to believe that I’m the actor. I used to hold a story of my own, about who am I and what I am doing here (a Jewish, an Israeli, a secular and so on…).

Later on I thought that maybe I’m actually the observer. Things are happening and I’m just watching them, knowing that my thoughts about myself are just the parts of a false self identity.

But lately, a strange feeling is starting to crawl inside me, one that says that I’m not even the observer, but the act itself, or the theater hall. Both the observer and the actor are contained inside its endless and quite space, doing just what they have to do in order to make the theater come to life.

Are you fully present, letting your mind staying quite while you are reading this post? What are you hearing around you? How do you sit, infront of the computer? Is your neck straight or is it bent forward? Is your back straight? What are the smells around you? The taste on your tongue?

I tried. I really tried seeing the bad through all these years. Not that I did it on purpose, it’s just that this is what I was taught to do. You know what I’m talking about right? Because this is what you too were taught. It wasn’t such a difficult task, to be honest. “Here it is!” I pointed at another big red title in the newspaper that screamed: “CORRUPTION IN GOVERNMENT OFFICES!”. It was also very easy to see the bad in the behavior of people surrounding me, in the bad service I got from the telephone company, and also in the emerging Iranian nuclear bomb, the orthodox, the Arabs, the Jewish settlers and basically in everyone or everything that was external to me. And I didn’t even know why am I looking for it. It was just there. Easy job.

But one moment, probably between one angry thought and another, the sun brought my attention to the fact that it is shining.

“Hey man”, it said, “Your troubles are not my concern, or anyone else’s”.                                         “Oh yeah? So if you don’t care what my troubles are, why do you even take the time to say anything about it, huh?”                                                                                                                                         “You are disturbing me, please”                                                                                                                   “But you started talking to me!”

“I did it so that you shut up already! Or, to be more précise, I did it so you’d finally wake up from that long, very long sleepwalking of yours. Don’t you finally wanna know what’s REALLY happening around you? What reality really looks like, without your continuous jurisdiction over it? Don’t you think that it is time to see the objective, the pure, the stable truth that never changes?

“I do, it is time” I answered.

“Well, using your arrogant, “logical” way of thinking, I’d say that it is NOT logical that anything is bad. Just look around you. Your body is made out of BILLIONS of cells, each and every one of them has its own role and consciousness. Not even one of them is redundant. Together, they all form a machine that is so smart, that you can never, never fully understand it with your not so utilized brain, to say the least. You look around you and see animals, you give them names, and embarrassingly believe that you understand their nature. The light that is coming out of me, a HUGE fire ball hanging in the sky, hits earth, supplies heat that enables you, as well as plants, to live. This light enables those plants to create the oxygen that you breathe, that will later on become clouds, that will later become the water that you drink. And this is all very nice, but this amazing planet that you live in, is just one out of billions in your galaxy. It is one out of billions of galaxies in this universe, which is probably not even the only universe out there, as most of your physicians already believe. And in between all those stars and galaxies HUGE forces are acting, making this ENDLESS machine work in complete harmony. But then you come, you grain of sand, and start judging what’s right and wrong, good and bad, as if you are not a part of this holy universe, as if its rules don’t apply to you. As if you have the ability to understand things that are enormously bigger and smarter than you are”.

“So what are you saying?” I asked.

“I am saying that it is time to stop judging the universe. That as long as you believe that some things are bad, you will keep seeing those bad things throughout your life. The problem is not the “wrong” behavior of anyone around you, whether its not the Arabs, the orthodox, the government, the settlers nor the Iranian nuclear bomb. The only problem arises inside your head, which deems all those things as “good” or “bad”.

All you have to do is to lower your head and smile. No one ever signed a contract with you, saying that everything that you go through in your life will be pleasant. But no one besides you ever defined something that is not pleasant as “not good”. It’s you who came up with this twisted logic.

SMILE, DANCE, LAUGH AND PLAY UNTIL YOU DIE. BECAUSE IT IS JUST NOT LOGICAL THAT ANYTHING AT ALL CAN BE “BAD”.

Hey all,

So although the last “Good Vibrations Music” post was also about “Playing for a change’, I just accidently got to see this great video clip of them, and I thought I have to share it with u 4 3 main reasons:
1) The name of the song is “Good Vibrations”, which makes it a great choice for that page.
2) It was shoot on the street, in almost aמ amateurish way. Some might say that it makes it a low quality video. Well, I really feels that it makes it human, real, and that there is a great perfection in the imperfection.
3) Everyone in that clip are soooo happy. And that makes it just a great Good Vibrations song.

So in this “Good Vibrations Music” post, I have decided to share with you a video clip that is one out of many of an amazing project called “Playing for change“. You can read about it more in their website, but basically it is a non-profit organization, helping to give education to people from all over the world through music. Besides that specific video clip that I’ve uploaded to this post, you can watch some other great HUGE productions by “Playing for change” in Youtube. Among those productions are good vibrations songs like One love, Stand By Me, Redemption song and more..

This one’s making me shed a tear each and every time that I watch it.

Good Vibrations Music #1

Hi all,

These kind of posts are designed to make you feel happy.

Starting today and once a week, during the weekend hopefully, I will upload one of the music video clips that I like to categorize as “good vibrations music”. The reason I categorize these video clips as a good vibrations one, is that every once in while, when I want to feel extremely happy, I just watch (and listen) to one of them. I mean, that is not all I do. I usually also sing the words outloud, dance, laugh, scream, cry and basically just letting myself enjoy the great love that they spread. And the results well… you should experience it for yourself :-)

So, with no further talking, here’s the best way to enjoy what these posts have to offer:

Set your phone in a silent mode and throw it on the bed, so you won’t hear the vibration (Really, do it). Close the door behind you. Play the latest video which was uploaded (or several of them) on a full screen mode and let it carry you to wherever you want to go. It is highly recommended to sing it outloud, or dance, or both together. Don’t be shy, the door is closed. :-)
